Map Of Chester From Around 1922.
You can just make out a triangle (N.E. of 'Cathederal') which was
the Cattle Market.

what was the 'bottom' of George Street has been transformed into St. Oswalds Way,
and now runs past what was the end of Back Brook Street.
You can see in this second enlargement, that
what was the 'bottom' of George Street has been transformed into St. Oswalds Way,
and has now become St. Oswalds Way roundabout.
